Our Beliefs

We believe God is one deity in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe scripture is the record of God's word breathed out. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe that sin separates us from God. Without salvation, we are doomed to an eternity of separation from God.

We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

We believe Salvation is by faith alone. We define faith as believing that God is who He says He is and that He will do what He says He will do.

We believe that when we accept that Jesus is who He says He is, repent, and follow Him, we are guaranteed eternity in heaven with Him.

We believe in the transformation of the believer. When we accept Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us and our identity is changed forever.

We believe we are to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength & love our neighbors. He says that we are to go and teach all peoples (every nation, tribe, and tongue) about His love and His command to love each other.

Is this all we believe?

These are just a few of our core beliefs. At Engage, we have found that the best way to know what someone believes is by engaging in face-to-face conversations rather than just through cold documents. Not everyone will agree at all times, but conversations are a healthy way to explore our with each other and gain a better understanding.
